Hello, Dave.
Now we are preparing Samsung SoC based DRM Driver patch v5 for mainline and
it would be posted soon. I wonder that you want to open user side based on
DRI2 of Xorg or just simple test application to have our driver accepted as
prerequisite. If so, should we post it to libdrm or is it
Hi Inki,
Well it seems that so far you've only done KMS work so you don't need to worry
as much about a userspace. When you start adding driver specific acceleration
ioctls then we'll have to allow for making sure an open userspace exists to
work and demonstrate the new ioctls.
Dave.

Mh okay, I my observations were related to HDMI (not VGA).
Is there a way to find out if a "HPD pin [is] assigned to the
digital display connector"?

Hello, Dave.
Now we are preparing Samsung SoC based DRM Driver patch v5 for mainline and
it would be posted soon. I wonder that you want to open user side based on
DRI2 of Xorg or just simple test application to have our driver accepted as
prerequisite. If so, should we post it to libdrm or is it
Hi Inki,
Well it seems that so far you've only done KMS work so you don't need to worry
as much about a userspace. When you start adding driver specific acceleration
ioctls then we'll have to allow for making sure an open userspace exists to
work and demonstrate the new ioctls.

on some tables and assumes the encoder is already enabled
if the DFP2_ACTIVE bit is set. Clear that bit so the table
