If one tries to copy or manipulate a file (compress with gzip, xz, bz2) larger
than 1GB. There was a fix for this issue back with earlier 2.6 kernels but it

Still locks up hard with radeon.agpmode=-1 or radeon.agpmode=1. Haven't tried
anything else yet. The build of TeXLive failed as before with radeon module
