yes. i updated git libdrm/mesa/ddx also. so I went back to an older rc3+ d-r-t
kernel and ran it for 24 hours, no crashes. booted back to d-r-t git head and
didn't start firefox this

Did you update any other components as well (xserver, ddx, libpixman, etc.)?
