I can confirm that issue is now gone, using Linux 4.5 (which contains
dba280b20bfd1c2bed8a07ce3f75a6da8ba7d247). Who does take care of closing this

I wouldn't call this "properly loaded", the kernel driver completely fails to
initialize the hardware and unloads itself after realizing that this won't
work.
