Yep, it seems to work great for me. Just have to make sure bus
mastering is enabled for the card.

like to know which different versions of the Radeon chip are supported, ie:
VE, ME, LE ??? There's been some questions regarding that on the FAQ

There were some problems with rwsemaphores before 2.4.4(I think!).
In 2.4.4 they work fine but the problem with DRI steel exists.
I've tested single head and it works fine as you have already said.
