There are new Extensions which redirect all drawing operation in a drawable
to off-screen. Those extensions are Xcomposite and Xdamage.
Could it be support by DRI (GLX also)? Which is needed to support them?

Sorry for not telling you when ssh went down/why. My impression was
that it would be back quickly, and I forget that I'm basically the link
between the real admins and dri/mesa. Anyway, it should be back now.
