Howto flush Texture Cache on R100?

Hi! Does anybody know a reliable way to flush the texture cache of R100 Radeon chips? (e.g. Radeon 7200, 7500, etc.) Background: I found some glitches with X.org's Render extension, and a workaround, but I would rather like to have a solid resolution and not that kind of hack:
