I forget ask the most importantI don't quite understand the question, but
where do you commit dri/radeon changes or or once updated dri you compile radeon has standalone ?
or did you don't need update mesa/drivers/dri/radeon ?

this one you get if you don't update your drm sources. A dri driver built with the hyperz stuff commited to Mesa cvs will of course run with an old drm (without hyperz of course), but it will not compile.
