Replace custom wait-queue usage with
wait_event_interruptible_timeout(). This required some more complex
return code evaluation, but simplifies the loop itself to one statement.

I need to know if this patch has been tested on real hardware, the i830
driver is in maintenace mode only, and
Hi,
With ColorTiling enabled I get gradual corruption og the desktop/screen
on my X800 XT (AGP).
3D applications & games are fine. the corruption happends during popups
(menus etc.).
I'm using the late CVS og r300_driver and Xorg.
Any idea where to start debugging this?

Hi all,
I've just tried r300 out of CVS coupled with the new X.Org packages in
Debian unstable and I am proud to report that everything works!
My hardware is a IBM Thinkpad T42 with:

Is this method better than reworking dri_util.c? I still had to
replace some XF86DRIxxx calls in dri_util.c. There needs to be some
way to replace the __glxXX calls in the dispatch table. Right now I'm
using an #ifdef but it can't stay that way.
Both schemes have merit. I probably like the first s

Sure. Just don't expect this to happen today.
I'll have a couple of other patches next week, some of which are likely
to be debatable.

Do we have a plan on doing this? It would be good to merge things since you

You can put the r300 code in the Mesa tree anytime, as far as I'm
concerned.
