AFAIK there's hardware limitation for opengl context, viewport to the
framebuffer is up to 2560x2560 for r300 family. Is saw that discussed in
various places, for example:

Looks like this is caused by wrong storing of cube mipmap textures in my patch.
I store them:
- one face - all mipmaps
It was merely an indirect of figuring out if i should commit it myself
or if someone else must do it.
