with google i have searched for "linux G450 PCI"
and i have seen that link:

playng around with CVS, i have downloaded it, and then i have mailed to author, to ask the status of the project.
he never replyed me, but, as he modified linux kernel (drm) and dri file (but i am not sure), i think it was released under GPL.
now: my only problem is the time to do it all (compile a lot of files, hugh) and know how of dri (and kernel)
can someone try to see if it is available from i*86 linux, and if it works? (only alpha dir under arch)
from google seems to see a lot of people using g450 pci, and asking always for dri!
