It's been a while since I did a merge.  I'm thinking I'll make the branch
from the trunk (I'm checking out a fresh tree from the trunk now) and then
merge in changes from mach64-0-0-4-branch once you've checked in anything
you'd like to get in before the merge.  Does that sound like the right 
way to do it?  I was thinking this might be easier than merging the 
changes on the trunk into the branch since there's been a lot of activity 
on the trunk since our last branchpoint from it.
