maybe someone should put this issue on the DRI-drivers
status table to prevent other people to fall into
this trap.

AGPGART devices/chipsets:
Depends on your Kernel/agpgart modul, most common
chipsets should work.
Linux users look into agpgart_be.c in your kernelsource.
