I think we should use HTML5 with fallbacks. G.e. we should think on users using devices like a braille display. In case of DS-1994 [1] we check if the Browser supports HTML5 File API and HTML5 Drag&Drop. If it does not we fall back on the "old behavior". Checking this with IE 9 I just saw, that
