I would like to do some testing with the Enhanced Configurations code.
I deployed the latest code on the master branch to my test server and I am
seeing the following error when I tried to access /rest. I can access
/xmlui, /solr, and /oai.
I believe that I have created a proper local.cfg,

I am using DSpace 5.4, XMLUI, and modified MIrage2 theme.
I was asked if anyone has incorporated an export citation function into
their install.
What people are looking for, here, is a button that will allow a user to
export a citation to a citation manager.
Is anyone doing this?

That would be a nice feature to have.

Hi, Everyone:
So, I fixed my problem by restarting Tomcat. I guess when in doubt,

After a mass ingest of content into a fresh system (and I confirmed with
fresh record creations), if the `checker-email` task runs without first
properly running the `checksum` task, the outcome is alarmist and
surprising and (I believe) incorrect.
Every item that is 'yet to be checked' is adde

Hi Keith,
The general queries you'd be creating in DSpace 5.x would be similar to
this one:
"SELECT * from metadatavalue WHERE resource_id=? and resource_type_id=?"
The "resource_id" is the 'id' field from the community/collection/item
tables (e.g. community_id, collection_id, etc)
The "res
Hi Amanda,
Do you (or anyone else) know how Symplectic Elements is pulling content
from DSpace?
In general, this sounds like it *might* be more of an issue with how
Symplectic Elements is pulling in DSpace content, and you may wish to
talk to them about the possibility of pulling in non-ORIG
Hi All,
I've have a support program running for dspace that creates some custom
stats and sends out emails to users who subscribe to the custom stats.
The report is generated by handles. In versions prior dspace 5.0, I used
the handle to get the community/collection/item name. In older database

Hi all. I tried the same file with DSpace 5.4 and it worked. I also tried
it using the current code of DSpace-Cris (5.4) and it didn't work.
Any ideas?

Thank you Claudia. Unfortunately (even though I have no files to import
there) I tried with files as well. The files got imported but the metadata

Hello Aris,
the example you sent contains an item with only the metadata and no files
associated. The item directory contained the files:
contents (with nothing in it)
dublin_core.xml (with some metadata)

Hi Peter, all,
the authority framework was introduced many years ago so it is quite
obvious that we have forgotten about the initial implementation.
When Larry Stone and me introduced the framework the two targets were
the Harvast Catalyst expert directory and DSpace-CRIS, see this

Hi All,
I am using DSpace-Cris 5.3 and I encounter the following problem:
When I am using the batch import (both from the jspui and from command
line) with Simple DSpace Format files, only empty articles are being
inserted to the collection. I have attached the item I am trying to
import.
This is a know issue of DSpace 5.3 and DSpace-CRIS 5.3.0.
You need to upgrade to the 5.4 (recommended) or manually apply these fix
