Well. That was a wrong inference on my behalf, perhaps wishful thinking because I saw a stackoverflow asserting that 1.9.1 did not support 1.8 https://stackoverflow.com/questions/29745093/does-ant-1-9-1-support-java-1-8-45 I'm assuming this is then an Ant config issue. ___
