Hello,
we want to use the DSpace OAI-Webapp but only our metadata should be
harvested. Is it possible to disable the ORE functionality, for example
by comment out in '[dspace]/config/crosswalks/oai/xoai.xml'?
Thanks in advance and kind regards,
Paul Münch

Hello Paul,
for those relying on the ORE format to harvest it would be enough to
disable it in your context.
Per default there are a lot of formats enabled which might expose more
data than you want and might be used in any way.
Hope this helps

Dear colleagues,
I am considering the feasibility and potential benefits of installing the
Solr server in a separate, dedicated computer, instead of deploying it in
the same server running dspace.
Do you have some experience / recommendation on that?

Ricardo

Apparently yes... I'm just discovering this functionality, so sorry for
naive questions :)
