I agree. This is easy to patch in, as it is contained in a single class that can be run using 'bin/dspace dsrun org.dspace.util.SolrUpgradePre6xStatistics' once the single source file has been added to [dspace-source] and compiled. I've needed to do this on 5_x and 6_x test instances recently, and I'm planning to add it to a production 6.2 instance that was upgraded from 5_x. -- Mark H.
