what I did. I had run oai import before, after I had created the items.
I then accessed the oai GUI. That shows the three contexts: default, driver
and openaire, each with buttons to Identify, List Sets, List Recor

Did you happen to forget to run the OAI indexing command
([dspace]/bin/dspace oai import)?
Unfortunately, at this time, the OAI index is not updated automatically.
So, you need to schedule this command to run on a regular basis
(nightly, hourly) in order to keep OAI-PMH updated.

after adding the correct metadata to the records and modifying the
xoai.xml, the OpenAIRE context now is working partly. The identify, sets,
records are all working. Only when I access ListIdentifiers from the page
listing the context or the menu Identifiers from within the OpenAIRE
