Please see our guide to common installation issues.  This "Invalid CORS 
request" issue is listed there.  Usually it's a configuration problem on 
the backend, but you might also check your Tomcat for errors thrown there.

Keep in mind there's also a common issue people have hit with self-signed 
SSL certificates. This also may affect you in the future if you plan to 
install the User Interface as well:
