Hi Monika,
There's a "checker-emailer" script that can be run just after the
checksum checker (via cron or similar). That emailer will send a results
summary email (of the lastest checksum check) to the "mail.admin"
configured in your dspace.cfg file.

Hi Ed,
You might want to double check your [dspace]/config/dspace.cfg file, to
see what the "dspace.url" value is set to (near the top of that file).
My guess is that it may have a "/xmlui" on the end of it.
The DSpace HandleManager uses the "dspace.url" setting when it redirects
a handle to a
Hi all,
I'm currently working with DSpace 3.2 in the Mirage theme. I wanted to
customize certain parts of the theme beyond just branding, but I'm having a
bit of trouble figuring out where things are generated so that I can modify
them. I have two specific questions, but general answers on how page
Because DSpace and Tomcat on my servers are only used for DSpace, I
cheat (and do something that is not recommended practice): I have both a
DSpace user and a Tomcat user in*//*/etc/password (and in /etc/shadow)
with the same user and group identification numbers (the UID and GID).
The entries
Hi.
We have removed the /xmlui/ from the base url, but when using the handle
system, the page returned includes /xmlui/ in the url. Any ideas on how to
remove this from the url returned by the handle system?
Thanks!

I am run-in the check sum checker on our production instance via the crontab.
I would like to generate same kind of report that lets me when bitstreams were
checked last (and the result of the check)
I understand that the checksum checker stores results in the database, so it
should be straight for
+1 to everything Mark said.

There might also be stuff in something like /var/lib/tomc

Because Tomcat needs access to DSpace's files and directories. The
simplest way to do that is to have Tomcat own them.
Tomcat is the only thing that is "r
Hello everyone,
I need to create custom submission steps and forms for all collections
under a community in our dspace system.
I know how to create them using item-submission.xml and input-forms.xml.
What I need to know is if there is a way to apply the changes to a
community instead of collection
