Hi, I'm trying to do tomcat clustering with two nodes with Manakin
(xmlui) for the version 1.5.1 of DSpace. The version of tomcats are 5.5.17.
I've modified the server.xml to add , and I've
also changed the class:
dspace-1.5.1-src-release/dspace-xmlui/dspace-xmlui-api/src/main/java/org/dspace/a
Hi, I have different input-forms with different languages but in xmlui
they are not loading correctly, DSpace is always loading the default
input-forms.xml .
I've already put the appropiate locale variables to the dspace.cfg
(xmlui.supported..., webui.supported.locales).
I've checked the

Hi, we need that the collection administrator would be able to modify
items permissions of its collection in the version 1.5.1 of DSpace. Last
time I've read about this problem (called "delegate admins") was this post:

Hi, I've installed DSpace 1.5.1 successfully. Now, I'm trying to change
and add source .java files.
To do this I've read this link:
http://wiki.dspace.org/index.php/BuildCookbook
and I've read a similar message from the list:
http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=48066B8C.8060906
Thanks Claudia, do you know the future plans of including this option
with DSpace xmlui.
cheers

Hi, I've already installed DSpace 1.5 but i18n is not working with
xmlui. I've changed the value parameters of dspace.cfg as:
default.locale = ca, es
webui.supported.locales = ca, es
default.language = ca, es
xmlui.supportedLocales = ca, es
xmlui.supported.locales = ca, es (I've added this later

Hi, I have been configuring Tomcat and DSpace to accomplish tomcat
clustering and the persistence of sessions in two machines that are
running Tomcat at the same time. First, I added the line of server.xml
under the Engine line:

Moreover, we need to modify the objects that ses
Hi Leonie,
after I read your message about granularity of authentication I have few
questions:
- how do you give permissions to public or private items in the same
collection?
- Do you use the dspace-admin account or there is another method
whithout the dspace-admin account and without changing
Hello,
I made a few interesting modifications in DSpace code, in particular in
the ItemImport.java:
When our DSpace implementation import metadata of other repositories it
checks that the importing documents are not inside. If this metadata has
changed then it overwrites the metadata stored
Hello, I have a few questions about DSpace even I have read the DSpace's
documentation.
A month ago, we have a host with DSpace 1.4 installed with no problems.
After we've changed the host, the IP, etc, without a CNRI update.
DSpace is working well except handles. The handles that were created a
