[Dspace-tech] Restricting navigation elements to admin users

Hi, Is it possible to restrict the navigation elements such as Search and Browse to only admin users (or more usefully defined users) in the same way that the Statistics element is hidden if authorization.admin is set to true? Regards, Ben

Hi Ben, yes, it could be possible, but I'd expect some limitations because this works on the URL matching layer. As an example, see how Elastic Search Statistics behaves differently depending on whether the user is in the specified group (which is allowed access) or not:
