But which log file I have to see, I have seen lots of files with .txt, .log.

Look at the end of catalina.out (this is a large file) or,
alternatively, in the file with today's date (e.g.
catalina.2013-09-17.log).

They are in your Tomcat installation directory. I think by
default is /usr/share/tomcat6/logs/catalina.out
