[Dspace-tech] Unsupported Image Type

Hi.
I'm on 1.6.2 JSPUI.

I'm getting this error:

javax.imageio.IIOException: Unsupported Image Type


When creating the thumbs of some image items with the filter-media script.
The images are ordinary jpg files, around 2-8 MB in size. Also most  
jpeg items have their thumbs created properly, this only happens with  
a few images. What can be causing it? I googled it but didn't find  
much. I suspect it can be related to the file size but not sure.
