New versions are:
OS: Ubuntu 12.04
Postgres: 9.1
DSpace: 4.2
Tomcat: 7.x
Ant: 1.8.1.
Maven: 3.x

Can you send us the exact error messages you are seeing? It's difficult
to determine the upgrade problem without more information about what did
not work, or what errors are being reported.

Yes i did several times and in right order step by step. database shows all the
records from admin interface, each item i can see by searching with
record/handle number, at the same time
