Hi Joseph,
You may be better off asking this question on either the SWORD mailing
list [1] or a Drupal mailing list.
I'm unaware of a Drupal + SWORD plugin, though there is a SWORDv2 PHP
client library [2].

We are depositing to DSpace with SWORDv2 from a Drupal webform, but it's
not a module -- it's PHP code called by the form's additional processing.
I know, it would be better as a module
We also have deposits coming in via SWORDv1 from OpenScholar websites.

Hi,
Does anyone know of a SWORD client module for Drupal? We have a research
group adding publication metadata and PDFs to Drupal, and would love for
them to be able to add a 'send to DSpace' button into their Drupal.
I've read through the code of https://www.drupal.org/project/sword, but

Hi all,
Unfortunately the DSpace Sword Client feature
(https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSDOC4x/SWORDv1+Client) has an unsupported
dependency, Apache Httpclient (http://hc.apache.org/httpclient-3.x/). The
practical choices are to leave the dependency in plac

Hi Lewatle,
Take a look at dspace.cfg, and look for:
# sword.servicedocument.url = http://www.myu.ac.uk/sword/servicedocument
Uncomment this, and make sure it matches the URL you are using. There is
another config entry (sword.deposit.url) that you'll need to set as

Hi DSpace Team
I want to set-up DSpace SWORD Test, I never changed anything on DSpace
configuration (dspace.cfg) especially on SWORD SPECIFIC CONFIGURATIONS, I need
advice to any DSpace User who have done SWORD set-up about which lines are
important to uncomment and put what values to the prope

That's really great, sword looks exciting. In my opinion its release
is too late for inclusion in 1.5. We need to focus on documentation
and testing of what is all-ready a massive release (possibly the
biggest one since 1.0) instead of adding new features and pushing the

Hi Mark,
I think the vision of a distributed modular DSpace architecture is a
good one. I think though, that we need to distinguish between what is
versioned together, and what is distributed together. The default
DSpace distribution ought to support out-of-the-box the most important

While I don't discount the benefits of delivering the sword service
with the dspace distribution. We are really reaching a point where
we need to consider if it is better to manage each of these addons
independently in different version trees and simply combine them
together into a common

Objections?
Hi Folks,
The recently funded JISC project SWORD produced an APP based web service
for ingesting packages into repositories. This has been implemented for
DSpace, and has been released at version 1.0:
