I'm using dspace 3.1 xmlui with Mirage theme. I'm using discovery too. I've
upload some documents on a collection but I can't see the total number of
item on the home page of dspace. Actually I want to see the it on the
following way..
XYZ (Community) [45]
ZXY (Community) [21]
ABC

schedule a cron job (e.g. nightly):
[dspace]/bin/dspace item-counter
in dspace.cfg:
webui.strengths.show = true
webui.strengths.cache = true
then restart Tomcat.

Sorry, I made a typo in the command. It must have given you an error.
It's supposed to be:
[dspace]/bin/dspace itemcounter
Don't forget to set up a cron job for it, otherwise you'll have
outdated counts after they change.
