[Dspace-tech] item-list.xsl in Mirage

I'm trying to make the browser result list icons for each bitstream in the item as part of the result, but I see from doing: inside that I don't get mets:file ( that section is empty ). I really want to get the entire mets record to work with. How can I change that? Thank you!
