I'm installing dspace on ubuntu 10.04 sever and after i've installed sudo
apt-get install ant maven2 , i got this message ldconfig deferred process
now taking place
I don't know what it is. should i just carry on or wait for it to finish?

If you open a terminal (Type CTL+ALT+t) and type man ldconfig, a man page
will open with help about ldconfig.

No, it's not virtual. I've installed putty, a tool used to connect to
server from distance. Actually the computer i'm working on is a windows
based system
