Hi All I got it. Here is what I did. Since I am using a Mac I have a program called Parallels. I rebooted the Mac and restarted Windows. Before I started Windows I unplugged the programming cable and the USB converter. Once I restarted Windows I started the D-Chat program,plugged in the cab

One more thing...The programming cable and the data cable are not the same. The data cable takes RS232 from the PC (or converter) to a miniature din plug on the ID800. sb

Hi Rick, Be sure the DVT is set to AU for automatic ptt. Be sure GPS is OF, and in the initial set mode, power off, hold setlock while power on, SPD sets the low speed data to either 96 or 48. (The IC91 uses 38.8K) This should match your program speed. Another getcha is the com port setting on
