Has anyone used a FM Linear amplifier with a D-Star hand held?
I have An IC91AD and a Daiwa LA-2035R (pre-amp and 30 Watt amplifier).

This has been done, but if the amplifier does not key up quickly
enough you will have problems with lost headers on your transmissions.

If you set your gps to transmit and put a string in your transmit msg for gps
it will go onto the net through your local gateway and you can see it on any
aprs web site such as aprs.fi.
Here is a link to the page that calculates your string to put into the msg line.
