There's not a really good reason why we even need the gateway computer. It
wouldn't take much for the controller to do it all.
But that's not what we got. We have what we have. And what we have doesn't
support the configuration.
The Icom "zone protocol" doesn't use IP.

I well know that this problem is already been discussed in the past in this

Is it so indispensable that every repeater, that would like to be connected in

Hi Andrea,
In theory, it should be possible to pipe the serial data/clocks and RE/TE
through an WiFi IP link... as long as the latency isn't too bad.
I've actually thought about doing this myself as well, but I have yet to find
the right hardware to do it yet.
It would also be good to work out h
