the network, which is outsourced to someone else. The bit that talks to the

K2DIG is currently off of the network due to a failed router. A new one has
been obtained, however due to security concerns at the repeater site it my

You are correct, and that's what I was referring to . If you stay on a single
repeater, call sign forwarding should be immediate, since the local software
arbitrates the session.
And I'd have to say that using different call signs breaks call sign routing
