I have an IC-92AD and was looking at the ID-800H and 2820 for a base radio. But I noticed the following statement on the ID-800H page...
"The Digital features of the ID-800H are compatible with IC-2200H, IC-V82 and IC-U82 radios with the optional UT-118 installed." This didn't mention the 2820 nor did it mention the IC-92AD which made me wonder if there are differences between some D-Star radios that make them incompatible with each other. Are they all compatible with each other or are they not? Is there something to look for or avoid in deciding on a D-Star radio? [Ed - the ID800 came before the newer radios. They are all compatible with each other].
