I had this identical problem, a few times. I was using my ID-800 as a base
station. I was transmitting on 441.0 MHz and heard the beeps and the radio
stopped transmitting. Never happened on any other frequency. I mentioned it
to one of the Icom Tech. guys. He had no comments. I dunno...

Hi
Sounds like a very similar thing that happened with my ID-80 HT. It
was because external DC voltage supplied was a bit high and adjusting
it to 13.5 fixed the problem.

This morning I noticed an issue with the ID800H in my truck. When transmitting
on high power (into port B of W0CDS), the unit cuts out and gives four long
beeps. I initially thought it was a high SWR safety feature, but when
transmitting on high on other frequencies near this one
Hi all,
I find when setting up a rig having flow charts or some sort of quick reference
is valuable.
I put in FILES in the directory "ID-800 Dual Band Xcvr" scanned in copies of
the Mode Arrangements, pages 123-126 of the manual. These charts show the
sequence and brief title of each in the m

What's the problem? If you're having trouble, others reading the list
(or the archives later) are probably also having the same problems.

I am using the ID800 and trying to set it up for DATA Transmission.
I have the Icom Cable and using an MFJ USB to Serial adapter. The MFJ
cable does work because I can use it for my ID91AD programming. The
software I am using is D-Chat and have tried dRATS. The software does
see the computer but
There were two upgrades to the ID800. The first took the memories
from 6 to 100 (154 if you use RPT slots as UR's). (See ID-800 ICF in
the files section on dstar_digital). There was no fee for this
upgrade. The second upgrade added an RF attenuator and a beep for $30
something $$$. I would cal
