Ha! Success (sort of)!
I set Menu 517 (Ext Data Band) to 'A' (it already was) and Menu 518 (DATA
Terminal Speed) to 9600 (it WAS set to 1200). Audio coming back from Echotest
is now good!
Now... why the heck does the DVAR Hotspot software (v 2.57) report the GMSK
Adapter status as GMSK
Correction. the status is reading 'Disabled'.
