Can someone help me with what the TX messages are used for? In the CS-D800 software I see I can program up to six messages and there is also an on/off toggle. What are they typically used for, are they sent manually or with every ptt, etc.? Thanks and 73! -- Tad Danley, K3TD EM10dq

You forgot to note, they're pre-stored messages that go out on each transmission and show on the SCREEN of the far-end receiving radio. They give you a few so you can change the message easily without having to reprogram it, so you can have multiple "default" messages. Nate WY0X On Jan 19, 2
