Any chance of a conflict between standard HFS and HFS+ hard disk formats here? I've happily used SCSI mode between reasonably similar systems and hardware, but was recently unable to mount my 2300 with known good cable/adapter/minidock on an LC with OS7.1 and standard HFS. You do need the ada

If I partitions a 6GIG drive and use the PowerBook in SCSI disk mode will each partition show up? It seems like it should but I was just wondering. I'm thinking of partitioning a drive and putting different versions of MacOS on them to use as emergency boot drives to hook up to other Macs that ar

Hello, I just installed OT/PPP and it added a modem control panel. Well it asks me to select a preset modem from the list. I have the standard internal apple 14.4 modem in it and cannot find the correct setting. What do I pick or how do I modify the parameters to make it work.. Thank Y

hey john - it's not as bad as it sounds. i still haven't taken on the trash issue, but the other duo just started working all of a sudden. it's still a little buggy, but i am pretty sure it's a software issue. i put OS 8.1 on cos i couldn't find my 7.6 disc, but i think 7.6.1 is the way to
