About 4 months ago, I swapped a working quadra 840av for an OS 8.5 install disk. Some people thought I was crazy. At the time, OS 8.5 disks were hard to find. Aftermarket retailers were charging $80-$100 and they were going on ebay for $60-$100. An 840av with better specs than mine went for $5

I checked with the List Mom to see if it would be OK to mention the following and I got the go ahead. I have been supplying PRAM batteries and kits with insturctions and the TORX #8 tool for a number of PowerBook models. I have gotten a number of requests for the PRAM battery for the 2400c.
