Hi,
I have a client who's asked me to:
1) install a modem on a Duo 230
2) install AOL on the same machine so it can be used for e-mail.
Where would I find a modem for this machine and how would I install it? I
read on lowend mac that there's a propietary modem slot, so guess that's the

AOL 2.7 still works? I thought I read somewhere that AOL was going to stop supporting

The file it is looking for is the "Internet Config Extension". You might
have it disabled. There is no file of the name you mention. That is merely a
function that can be called WITHIN the file that I mentioned.
Use Tome Viewer to extract it from the appropriate version of OS 9 you are
running.

Hi,
I need something called "ICAp;InternetConfigLib" in order to use my new
Dreamweaver trial. It's saying I need to reinstall the system software
to get this file back (i have no idea how i lost it!)
I don't want to reinstall the system software and the InternetConfig

runs AOL 2.7 quite smoothly. My daughter who is away at college uses it to

The Duo230 is a 68030 processor.
It's my understanding that OS8.1 only runs on 68040 Macs and up.
I take it that's not the case?

Hi All
I'm going to be travelling soon and will be taking my trusty 230
with me for writing. The Duo does not have a laptop as I use my
desktop PowerMac for most everything else (I have a DuoDock for E'Net
file transfers).
Can anyone suggest an easy way to outfit the 230 for Net Access (emai

drives, but they all rattle, they all say "Rattle noise is normal" on the
top of the drive, and they all work fine. If you put the drive in and it
