Was thinking this morning...All this talk of cables fraying near the
stress relief. Anyone had a cable fray at the opposite end - beside
the plug to the 2400?
Any had that happen and then repaired it?
Any other repairs other than cable stuff been done to 2400 power
supplies whil
Has taken a look at OS 9.2.1 to see if we 2400c jockeys stand to gain anything from
upgrading? And if so, has anyone figured out a way to get it to install (trying to
upgrade from 9.1 gave me the unsupported machine message)?

If you are only using the CD-burner for burning, you should not use
any driver for the burner- it will show up as useable in Toast (for
burning) without a driver (as long as T
The MacResQ $20 logic board was an error. It is indeed a Duo Dock board.
I know because I "bought" it. I don't know why I chose it over the $100
2300 board listed on the same page.

Well I did it, and it is up and powering the 2400 right now. I will de-breif
in detail when I send the pictures to Marc. A few details now though:
By far the most difficult step is getting the case open. The case is held
together with a tounge and groove joint. It is either welded with some sort
