[Duo2400] RamDisk or Disk Cache

Hi I'm enjoying my new (!!!) Duo 280C and trying to squeeze as much life from its battery as possible. Any ideas? I've tried out a RAM disk as a start up disk with all programs in it. I remember reading though that its better to increase the size of the Disk Cache. Puzzled I am now!! I'm runnin

I'm not sure about the Cache, but I wonder if there's much advantage with a ram startup volume over what I'm doing now, which is appdisk(ram) with a text editor on auto startup. I say this because ya still have to save to disk. I've got two batteries total 2 1/2 hrs at full power, and a possib

Has anyone ever tried the "64MB" memory modules sold by Omni Inc, on eBay? I seem to have misplaced the original 64MB module so I purchased one of these, but it only shows up as 32MB on board (48MB total.) I've had them send me a new one, and this one also shows up as 32MB. I'm being extra cauti
