Hello...I have been reading this list for about two weeks now and it seems that all everyone has is 2400s. I have acquired a 2300c Duo and have recently bought a DuoDock from Ebay. The Duo itself would boot up to the point where I got the unknown disk icon on the screen, but only when plug

I am reposting this question since I didn't get a response last time. Maybe it is a stupid question but here it is: I have a 2300c that won't start. It begins startup, makes noises like it is starting and the screen gets bright, but no apple logo comes on. I tried starting with the shift key

Rich, your startup disk may be corrupted. Do you get the blinking question mark? As you have a mini dock you might try and start from a floppy or external HD to find out. Another possibility: Unseated RAM card. You'd have to remove the keyboard to take a look. HTH Edgar > I am reposting this ques
