[Duo2400] trackpad ribbon cable- Help

Oh No a great sadness has befallen my household. Started up the 2400 and mouse ppoint would not move. My ribbon cable is broke. Trackpad and clicker no good. Anybody got any spares around. DT&T wants 35.00 for the whole assembly. I was hoping for a cheaper fix. Nothing on ebay currently If

[Duo2400] 2400 card cage hardware - cardbus?

Did all 2400's ship with cardbus cages? Did any? The "parts" 2400 I just picked up (my first and only 2400 so far) has a cardbus cage, unlike any 3400 I ever heard of which only ever had a 16 bit cage. Just to clarify, I'm not asking about any cardbus abilities of the logic board, just the cage
