Hello all,
Anybody have the nifty little utility Apple bundled
with Sys 7.5 called File Assistant? I trashed my copy
a while back and don't have a backup (that ever happen
to you?). I found a copy that only works on a 2300,
but dosen't work with my 280c.

Hello friends, a couple of head scratchers for you:
First: I have one duo 280 that is becoming more and
more difficult to power up. I tried holding the power
button in the back for a couple of minutes, but it
still refuses to start with battery, dock or AC
supply. Yes, the date & time became wo
never had a
modem problem. I have a line on a new GV 19.2
internal modem, but I'm hesitant to try cracking the
case. It's not mine, after all. Any Ideas?
I also can put Sys 8.1 on the machine... better or
worse than 7.6?

driver (Color StyleWriter 1500) and
the port selection in the Chooser makes no difference.
But, surprise! By removing the Duo from the minidock
and using the built in printer/modem port (and
adjusting the Chooser settings), the StyleWriter
prints like a champ.
What am I doing wrong?

Greetings duo-heads!
I have two batteries for my duo, but am without the
nifty double charger. The duo resides in the dock as
the battery charges. The question: is it safe to swap
the battery with another while the system is on?
