I AM using FWB CD-ROM Toolkit WITH MY PANASONIC drive i got the software on closeout from Small Dog or Mac resq for about $3 it is not the most recent version... but what else we are using is? this software disables the apple cd driver .. I have some flakeyness but think it may be drive and cables... still playing with it I use 8.6 on the 2400c "for now"
