Hi everyone! I have a question for you guys regarding the Asante SCSI - Ethernet adapters. I got this from Asante's website: ********** The Micro EN/SC is the smallest, dark gray in color (matches color of Powerbook), and was designed to work with Powerbooks. It will not work with desktop Macs, Quadra, Centris, IIfx, or PowerMacs. It will work with the Powerbook 5xx series. ********** It says there that it will not work with Powermacs, but I recall 2 listers saying that they were using it with their 2300c's! So, who's right? I read someplace that the reason these things aren't supposed to work with the 68040 and above chips are because their SCSI data flow rate is too fast for the EN/SC devices to work properly. Anybody know about this??
