Is there any software app (shareware or freeware) that will let me use my
keyboard like a number keypad while my Duo 230 is away from its dock? I
have a grading program where a keypad works nicely, but using the numbers at
the top of the keyboard is a little inefficient. Not a big deal, but mostly
curious if there was a way to do this easily. I seem to recall its not too
difficult to re-map your keyboard, but I'm looking for another way before I
start hacking. Plus, even if I did re-map the keyboard, I can't remember if
I can switch mappings back and forth easily.

Thanks for any info.

p.s. I like my Duo 230 and color is not a necessity, but I am curious if a
Duo 280c is worth getting for the color screen? I'm not really interested
in other types of PB until I can throw some $$ at a G3-type PB. I just
figure since I have a working main battery for the 230, I could use it with
a 280 instead of buying a cheap PB that I would have to buy a different kind
of battery for since most old, cheap PB come with dead batteries. Heck, I
spent $60 with shipping on the Duo 230 + dock + nice keyboard/mouse. Then I
put $90 for a new type 3 battery and $6 on a pram battery. It was worth it
to me to do this once, but not again. :)
