Hello everyone, I'm new here and just wanted to take a quick moment to introduce myself. I'm mostly a PC user (please don't flame me,) and I worked for a few years as a PC technician, doing repairs, and other things, and I've always built my own computers from parts. Anyway...
Although I love PCs, I just can't tear myself away from my little pb2400. I recently started tinkering with it, and doing a bunch of upgrades ... Memory, G3/240, etc, (thanks Sindey, you saved me mucho denaro with your help!) I just wanted to say the I recently tried upgrading my PB to support CardBus cards. I opened it up, and snipped the two yellow wires located just above the memory module and (because I don't have my soldering iron available,) taped off the wires, as a precaution (I will try to remove them later.) I dropped the "FireWire 2 Go Enabler" extension into my extensions folder, rebooted, and inserted my FireWire 2 Go card, and ... Tada ... A FireWire/Card icon popped up on my desktop.
